What Is Fleet Management?
The purpose of Fleet Management is to optimise the procurement, operation and disposal of a fleet of vehicles. Typically, this would concentrate on areas of cost, asset and risk management including compliance with legislation.
Q. Would you ask your sales manager to prepare your annual company accounts?
A. The answer is clearly no.
This employee, although numerate and literate, is unlikely to understand the very specialized discipline of accountancy and they are more profitably employed managing the sales team. So why would you ask an unqualified employee to manage your fleet operations?
At this point you may be thinking that all this sounds fine however, with our small to medium sized fleet, employing a skilled and experienced professional fleet manager is out of the question. We would agree and can offer a perfect solution at a fraction of the cost with much greater flexibility.
